Review: The 91-Storey Treehouse

The 91-Storey Treehouse reviewed by a kid book blogger

This week’s book review of The 91-Storey Treehouse by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton is brought to you by my 11-year-old brother Book Boy Jr.

Title: The 91-Storey Treehouse

Author: Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton (Ill.)

Publisher: Pan Macmillan Australia

About the book: The 91-Storey Treehouse is the seventh exciting instalment of the Treehouse series. In this book, Andy and Terry are faced with an impossible task… babysitting! They must go to their limits to save the children and keep them safe in their crazy treehouse.

What I thought: I thought this book was very funny. I really like reading these types of books because they’re easy to read but you still get the same enjoyment out of them. They’re a really fun read.

I think the drawings are very good but sometimes they have so many speech bubbles that I don’t take the time to read them all. Still, it’s a very well-illustrated book and I’ve always loved these two authors.

I’m looking forward to the next one already! I heard today that there’s a new Treehouse adventure coming next week – but it’s narrated by Terry! I can’t wait to see that! (Terry’s Dumb Dot Story, $2, all proceeds to charity – details here.)

I recommend this book for kids 8-10, and older kids who just like a fun read.
