About the book
This is the tale of a young girl who sets out to be the best business woman ever and to get rich.

With the help of her best friend Toby, Tess sets out on many adventures to hopefully make some money. Only one problem: she’s in grade five.

Then, one day, Tess finds a big bag of money…

Many characters join her in this story: some friends, who help her on her quest, and some foes, who deal in some, well, shady arts.

What I thought
I enjoyed this book. A lot of it was a page-turner and I felt that there was always something good to come. I found the subject quite interesting: how someone so small was always dreaming of something so big, and then something BIG really happened.

I thought the book was written quite well and that kids ages 8+ would be able to understand the story.
